The Acupuncture Association of Colorado is a non-profit, professional organization of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine practitioners, students, and others interested in traditional and modern Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine throughout the state of Colorado.
The AAC encourages and fosters the healing art known as Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine, promotes an acceptance of a uniform standard of recognition for the unique skills and abilities of the Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine practitioner, and promotes the professional status of Acupuncture throughout Colorado.
In addition, the AAC works in association with the existing Colorado medical community, and fosters, encourages, and promotes the constant upgrading of skills.
The AAC also encourages and assists in appropriate research in the area of maintenance of health through the art and philosophy of Oriental therapy as it relates to the traditional and modern practices of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine. Another function of the AAC is to promote Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine through public education and information.
