Lotus CEU Seminars presents:
Women's Health & Infertility: Pulse Dx & Herbal Treatment

Jimmy Chang presents this seminar and reveals details of the pulses which reflect today's most common biomedical diseases. Intro to the most commonly seen pulses, with practice sessions, allows you to think beyond identifiable pathogenic factors such as dryness, dampness and fire to detect precise patterns linked to high cholesterol, endometriosis, angina pectoris, gallstones, and more. Part II focuses on how to diagnose disease patterns according to the Eight Extra meridians. Pulses are felt on each other and then verified by Master Chang. This is an advanced workshop which is only offered once every two to three years.

"Officials of Fire and Water"

Taught by Hilary Skellon, daughter of Professor J.R. Worsley. 9:00 AM to 1:30 PM at ITEA 325 W. South Boulder Rd., Louisville, CO. As Classical Five-Element Acupuncture treats clients as a part of nature, so are the Officials members of the Chinese ruling court. Each time we hear about an Official we learn more aspects of the job description, duties, and even personality associated with it. Here, the learning is truly spiral – we can forever benefit from descriptions from another source. Hilary’s close association with Professor Worsley gives her tremendous insight into how he saw each Official. Hilary will also discuss relevant Spirits of Points.

How to Quickly and Accurately Make a Chinese Medical Diagnosis

Taught by Bob Flaws and approved for 12 CEUs by the NCCAOM

What if you could diagnose your patients more accurately and in half
the time that it takes you today? How many more patients could you
help? How much better of a living could you earn? How much more
confidence would you feel? Having practiced Chinese medicine for 30
years, Bob Flaws knows that it is possible to diagnose even complex
patients, those presenting 8-10 patterns simultaneously, in 10-15
minutes. In this class, he will share with you a system to speed up
your diagnostic process, increase your accuracy, and improve your
confidence as well.

This class is a dynamic combination of lecture, diagnostic algorithms,
problem-based learning exercises, case studies, and live
demonstrations. In this class, he will cover how to reliably identify
the most commonly seen patterns in Western patients with 2-3 questions
(i.e., symptoms) and 1-2 observations (signs). Bob will share with you
his "Hallelujah" symptoms (the 12-15 signs and symptoms which only
have a single disease mechanism) and he will teach you how to posit a
diagnostic hypothesis and then confirm or deny that hypothesis quickly
and accurately.
